Examination notes: 1984-01-14: E.J. Portrait at Hirschl & Adler. Marissa Boyescu showed Hills the painting. Backing also says: "Recovered backing by R.M Parsons (Grandaughter) [sic] 10-12-1961" Black cape over deep "velvet" red dress. Brooch with red stone. Blue-grey eyes. White dots as highlights.
