Description/Remarks
Baur 1940, p. 37: "This painting of a Savoyard boy in chimney sweep's costume was one of Johnson's most popular early pictures. He turned out a number of versions (see [Baur] no. 11). This shows the figure full length, standing in a courtyard with soot sack and broom on the ground."
