Examination notes: Hills 2011 at Christie's: Craquelure over surface esp. face area. Restoration—heavy but sensitive. Graphite: under chin, along ear, along arm, lips, hands not formed. Dress: short, choppy strokes. Scrubbed brown strokes on right. Eyes in shadow.
