MacGibeny, 2021: The sitter has been reidentified from Mrs. Amasa Stone to Mary Amelia Bonner Stone (Mrs. Andros Boyden Stone), based on 1) the reidentification of the sitter in the companion portrait from Amasa Stone to his brother, Andros Boyden Stone, and 2) her difference in appearance from Julia Ann Gleason (Mrs. Amasa Stone), depicted in an oil portrait by an unknown artist.
