Examination notes: 1971: Very sketchy. Soft focus. Formula lips. Red squiggles on left.
1988: Rather soft. Smooth surface (like Crisco has been spread over it). Creamy yellow - added later? Elongation of nose. Middle tones - filled in. Scumbling - [ ]. Soft focus - but "beady" eye effect behind - pinpoint highlights on pupils. Mouth - full Cupid's bow lips.
